1977 Yamaha RD400 DX SOLD The RD400 was a bike many aspired to own in the 1970s. Its handling and performance were for the time, outstanding. Due to its popularity on the track and a tendency to end up being pushed beyond either bike or rider's limits very few original examples remain. Ideed in our experience, very few exist now with the correct matching frame and engine numbers that distinguished Yamaha's at this time. Over 28 years we have sold only five RD400s !! Condition. This is a good original UK bike first registered on the 7th April 1977. She remains in original factory specification and with matching numbers. Preparation. Our work on this machine has included a top end re-build. The bike has been road tested, Independently MOTed and serviced by us. It will also be given a pre-delivery road test and check. Warranty. We do not offer any mechanical warranty on two strokes. Delivery in UK. Delivery is available in our van at 45p/mile, charged on total mileage within the UK.
