1976 Laverda Jota for sale. SOLD First registered on the 1st of August 1976, this is a lovely example of an early Jota. The Jota is one of the 1970s motorcycle legends, in its day revered as a bench mark of performance and handling and now a very rare and sought after treasure! But the best thing in our view is the sound of the wonderful triple, press the starter and grin! How many readers will remember Mark Williams writing of his adventures on his Jota in "Which Bike" magazine? The reality of the dream today is a motorcycle which is full of character and still a very exciting machine both to ride, polish and to look at, simply a work of art (thats our view anyway)! Condition. Restored over the last few years with engine work completed by Slater Brothers. The bike is in very good order and completed the "Colombres 2009" event in Spain. Correct head lamp mounting brackets are on order and will be fitted by us along with other detailed service and cosmetic work. She has been road tested, serviced and MOTed by us. She will also be given an additional pre-delivery inspection and road test. Warranty is for three months from delivery.
